FAQs
General Race Information
Where is the race located?
The event will be held at the Chick-fil-A located at 6104 N. Navarro St., Victoria, TX
77904.
What time should I arrive on race morning?
Please arrive by 6:45 am to ensure time for parking. The 5K/10K will start at 7:30 am.
Where can we park?
5K & 10K participants will be directed to park in the grassy area behind Speedy Stop
located next to HEB. Please use this entrance into the HEB parking lot.
Where can I find a course map?
A 5K/10K map can be viewed here.
Can you describe the course?
The race route is a fast, flat 3.1 mile loop. The start and finish will be located in the
parking lot next to Chick-fil-A. The 10K participants will complete two loops. At the
end of the first loop, all participants will enter back into the parking lot where the 5K/10k
runners will head towards the finish, and the 10K runners will follow a turn around to
begin the second loop.
Are there separate start times for the 5K &10K?
No. The 5K and 10K will both start at 7:30 am. Please place yourself according to your
pace. Faster runners should line up towards the front of the start, and joggers/walkers
please line up towards the back of the starting area.
Is the race chip-timed?
Absolutely! This race is chip-timed by Cadence Sports. Your chip will be attached to
your bib number.
Are baby strollers or pets allowed during the race?
If you choose to run with a baby jogger, please place yourself at the back of the pack of
runners. We ask that you take extra precaution for your safety, your child’s safety and
for the safety of the runners around you.
Pets, bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates, etc., are not permitted in the race.
What safety precautions should I expect and need to take during the race?
We are very excited that our route runs through town, and we want to make sure it is a
safe and smooth race! The outside lane of all of the streets on the route will be the only
lane coned off for the race participants and the only lane closed to traffic. Please stay to
the right side of the cones. Please do not try to run around the left side of the cones.
There will be a Victoria police officer at every intersection along the route to direct
traffic. Please place yourself in line at the start according to your pace. Because we only
have one lane blocked off, please stay to the right of the designated lane so that runners
can safely pass on the left side of that lane.
Is the race walker-friendly?
Walkers are always welcome!
Will a water stop be available on the course?
There will be a water station at mile 1.5 (Also mile 4.5 for 10K)

Young Life
Young Life Victoria is a non-profit youth outreach ministry that seeks to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their faith. This happens when caring adults build genuine friendships and earn the right to be heard with their young friends. For the past 3 years Young Life Victoria has been going where kids are and growing relationships with them. We hope to make a lasting difference in the lives of kids so they can have a lasting impact on their community. We are really excited to be involved with all of our great sponsors! Thank You for helping to raise money and awareness for Young Life in Victoria!
